When speaking of winter shorts, at least the last couple of seasons, we hardly mean cut-off denims or leather shorts anymore. Today, the popular model-off-duty staple is available in an astonishing variety of styles and luxurious materials that make it instantly office appropriate – see knee-length high-waisted shorts with occasional embellished details – as a more casual alternative to skirts. When styled properly, they can serve a multi-functional purpose; they can take you straight from the office to happy hour. Hence, it is a piece of clothing that is definitely worth an addition to any winter wardrobe.
Below there is a selection from numerous types of shorts – from casual to party and short to knee-length – that caught our eye.

Such a great post! I totally agree that shorts can be worn in any occasion. I would rather wear shorts than a skit because it’s more masculine and it can easily transform an outfit from day to night.

You left out tweed shorts. High waisted tweed shorts with tights and boots look amazing in the winter. And an excuse to buy grey shorts.
